So we arrived in Bangkok. The flight was nice and comfy. I watched a movie about some British retirees spending they last years in India. I loved the quote:
“Everything’s gonna be great at the end. If it’s not great, it means it’s not yet the end”.
So that’s what I hope for. After hurting my nose by hitting glass door on the railway station, losing GPS navigation, getting sick and encountering creepy person at our dorm in guesthouse (the Snoreman who doesn’t eat, sleep at day and watch Hungarian TV shows at nite, and never ever leaves his bed). After being woken up early morning by a young guy in blood and panic crying over some kidnapping, swordwoman and karaoke… After going to Taiping to meet the CS host who accepted us for a stay and ending up in a Peking hotel with big plastic bucket instead of a shower.
After finding out our new Malaysian SIM card is not perfectly working and cannot take incoming calls…After a lot of blisters and a light flu…After the week full of those I just hope for better tomorrow. For the trekking we are so looking for. For a nice host to show us around. For a good meal and nice chat with interesting people. For a real shower. For a change.
It’s not great. But belief in the quote is strong in me – it’s not yet the end and it’s gonna be great!
